The Tanoan Community Association, Inc., was developed by AMERIWEST Corporation dating back to the late 1970s. AMERIWEST Corporation was with Tanoan since its inception to oversee and manage the day to day operations of the Tanoan Master Plan. On June 30, 1986, AMERIWEST Corporation handed over management to the Tanoan Community Association, Inc. Board of Directors and the success and vision of in-house management with in-house community patrol and gate access became a reality in a manner that would achieve the goal of maintaining a community second to none.
